What better way to learn a new outdoor sport than with your family? We've put together a list of outdoor courses and activites designed for the entire family to enjoy together. Always under the watchful eye of our expert instructors you’ll develop your skills together. At Real Adventure we can provide everything you need for a truly memorable day(s) out with your family. Our aim is for your family to leave us having tried a variety of challenging outdoor activities in the safest possible environment. We take great pride in our flexible approach; we can cater for the expert as well as for the beginner and we will make sure that you enjoy the activity as a family.

  • Hello Dan,

    Apologies for the late reply - as soon as I got back from the lakes I moved house and am still getting stuff sorted out three weeks on.

    I'm pleased to say Real Adventure 100% delivered on what was set out, and as you promised - it was a brilliant day.

    We arrived in Coniston where we met Alan and drove to the abseil point. Alan was a really great person to have with us all day, he took into consideration we weren't all feeling that great (about the night before or abseil) but got us all down into the quarry no problem (after various cries of 'that's pretty high' and 'this doesn't feel right'...mostly from me!)

    The BBQ was just the job, plenty of food and just what we needed. The Ghyll Scramble was a great activity as noone had done it before, and as it was so hot and sunny, the perfect activity for the afternoon.

    I think we finished up about five, which was ideal - initially you'd discussed going canoeing too which would have been fantastic but by that time we were knackered so think the two activities were just about right...maybe next time! The most important thing is that Matt (the stag) had a great day.

    Thank you for making the discussing/arranging/booking side of things so simple, and thanks to Alan for ensuring we had a great day; it really has been a pleasure to dealing with Real Adventure.

    If you could e-mail or post some more pictures that would appreciated as I'm sure the boys would like to see them.
